Were You at the Meeting Last Night?

If not, your Apple Watch is going to seriously miffed! So much to know about Apple Watch and WatchOS, and Frank had it all!

At the Meeting after the Meeting, polycam (a LiDAR 3D scanner), where the echo (in the Zoom chat) is coming from, what people are hoping will actually be released by Apple soon, is the expected-soon iPad Mini going to be just a big iPhone, and going paperless kept us quite busy.

That’s my story; I’m sticking to it!

Who Are You and What Do You Do?

At The Sweet Setup:

In this series, we post a new interview with someone about what software they use on their Mac, iPhone, or iPad. We do these interviews because not only are they fun, but a glimpse into what tools someone uses and how they use those tools can spark our imagination and give us an idea or insight into how we can do things better.

Today’s victim, er, interviewee:

I’m Richard Seidl — author, speaker, and software consultant. I was born in Austria but have been living in Germany for several years. I started programming in the 80s and today I help companies write better software. My deep passion is about our future. I want to inspire people to become active designers of our future and not only to passively consume. I am convinced that we will only overcome the challenges of our world if we combine humanity AND technology. This is the core of my work and my writing.

You can catch Richard’s complete story here: Richard Seidl’s Mac and iOS Setup.

In the past year, you’ve probably spent a lot of time you spend in virtual meetings. Even if you aren’t live streaming on Twitch, hosting a YouTube channel, or presenting webinars very often, improving your video can go a long way in making your online communication more effective.

And if you already have a nice camera, you have most of what you need to get your video looking awesome by using your camera as a high-quality webcam.

I will be the first to admit that I don’t know a ton about photography and lighting, but I’m still pretty happy with how this looks. In this article, I want to share what I do know so you can get similar results using your DSLR or mirrorless camera as a webcam.

You can catch Mike’s complete story here: Mike’s Fancy DSLR Webcam Setup.

My name is Bart Kesner and I’m currently responsible for IT transformation efforts for a global engineering/consulting firm in the Kansas City area. This entails partnering with internal and external resources to analyze the delivery and use of products and services to enhance overall effectiveness, and lead teams to resolve any identified issues. Prior to that, I ran the Customer Experience program for a global manufacturing firm.
