07 Apple’s Security Issues Slide Under the Radar

Over the weekend, Apple released a software update for its iOS 7 mobile operating system after a potential security risk was unveiled for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users. The update includes a fix for SSL (secure socket layer) connection verification. According to Chicago-based tech expert Karl Volkman of SRV Network, Inc., the security issue is extremely exploitable and users should update their devices as soon as possible on a secure, trusted network.

08 TimeLock: The World’s First Unique Security App for iOS

So how is the best way to hide all your stuff? Put it where nobody knows, right? So now, this new security app from ProtectStar – TimeLock for iPhone and iPod touch – hides your stuff where nobody sees it. No one will have the idea that there is a highly-secure and -protected safe ingeniously hiding in an alarm clock. The app allows iDevice owners to securely store photos and videos, inside a data vault, where all contents are encrypted using powerful 256-bit AES algorithms.

09 Have you made your final arrangements? Will Crafter Lite 1.0 for
iOS might help

With the aging population, and saddening news of friends and relatives passing away, we’re reminded that none of us is getting out of this world alive – so maybe it would be smart to start thinking about our eventual exit.

11 New application gives users two options to block the Internet

A survey of 3,000 people in the USA released today reveals that 62% say they have been distracted from completing work by checking e-mails, browsing the Web, and engaging with social media. Also 59% admitted that the reduction in productivity caused them dissatisfaction and unhappiness.
The survey was released by Webtrate.com on the day it launches its Internet blocking and productivity application. It calls itself the ultimate productivity application because it combines three of the most powerful tools to aid motivation.

12 Tim Cook: Apple TV did over $1B in 2013 revenue

While the iPhone and iPad have come to dominate Apple’s business, the television has often been relegated to an afterthought for the company. So much for Apple TV’s being just a hobby, said Chief Executive Tim Cook.
&dlquo; That hobby was over a billion dollars of revenue last year,
…It’s a little hard to call it a hobby anymore.”

13 Quotes: March, wealth, and luck

The fact remains that the overwhelming majority of people who have become wealthy have become so thanks to work they found profoundly absorbing… The long-term study of people who eventually become wealthy clearly reveals that their “Luck” arouse from the accidental dedication they had to an area they enjoyed.
– Srully Blotnick

Money is the reward, but if it ever becomes the goal, you will lose sight of your dream and do things that make no one happy.
– The Statler Brothers

He does not possess wealth; it possesses him.
– Benjamin Franklin
