01 AUGD reader writes: Why Malware?

We’ve answered this question once before, and each time it comes up the answer changes little.

An AUGD reader writes:
> I’m having a difficult time understanding why you continually lead with articles such as

> articles is a known OS X threat. I would not be totally surprised if something related

Thanks for writing – we always like to know your thoughts and questions about the Infomanager. The reason for the “Malware Infomanager” is we’re getting more and more Windows and Unix users these days – nearly 50%; #2 Many readers use Windows or Unix at the office, that’s significant; #3 many readers use Macs, iPads, and the such, but use Android or other smart phones. Malware is a huge issue with iPhones – particularly those using Windows- or Google-originated software.

Why lead? Well, maybe we shouldn’t lead with that title.

We’ll mix it up!

Thank you for writing, for sure!
