11 GarageBand Misbehaving

Big disappointment this week as Fred, attempting to get GarageBand to run on his older Macbook Pro, discovers it’s now requiring Mountain Lion. Well, too bad, Apple, he cannot leave Snow Leopard because too many programs have not updated yet to Mountain Lion. Tried moving it over to the iPad 2, and got blind-sided there, too, since it requires the latest iTunes, and the latest iTunes will not run on previous systems. Looking for a solution… any ideas?

12 Here’s Apple’s REAL iPhone Problem (Hint: It’s Not About Screen Size)

Blodget says Apple is hosed if it doesn’t make a bigger iPhone as soon as possible. He believes that Samsung has reached parity with the iPhone and therefore Apple’s core business – selling iPhones – is in peril if it doesn’t make a bigger phone.

13 Quotes: Find something to laugh about

Against the assault of laughter nothing can stand.
–Mark Twain

Humor helps us to think out of the box.
The average child laughs about 400 times per day,
the average adult laughs only 15 times per day.
What happened to the other 385 laughs?
–USA Today

Once you can laugh at your own weaknesses,
you can move forward. Comedy breaks down walls.
It opens up people. If you’re good, you can fill up those
openings with something positive.
Maybe you can combat some of the ugliness in the world.
–Goldie Hawn
