03 Camino Browser – RIP

On the Camino blog, there is an announcement that Camino development has ended. I found Camino to be a nice browser, and I have it in my applications folder, but it hadn’t kept up with the new features of Safari, Chrome and Firefox.

05 Did Apple Buy Grokr?

This column was originally called the UGNN Rumor Manager. While I picked the name in homage to the Boston Computer Society’s BBS back in the day, I was thinking of trying to cover Apple Rumors in much the same way as MacRumors does today. (Although I must admit they do a better job than I ever considered.)

12 Quotes: Benjamin Franklin

Preparation: For the want of a nail, the shoe was lost; for the want of a shoe, the horse was lost; and for the want of a horse, the rider was lost, being overtaken and slain by the enemy; all for the want of care about a horseshoe nail.

If a man empties his purse into his head, no man can take it away from him. An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.
