FileThis, a Marin, California-based startup, has launched a universal iPhone app for the FileThis Fetch service that lets consumers go paperless. 11 How the NSA secures its Macs from snoopers

Rich Mogull has this article on Macworld’s Web site. He starts out saying that the NSA, (National Security Agency) plays an important role in helping the rest of the government secure its computers from outside attackers. In 2010, the NSA published “Hardening Tips for Mac OS X 10.6 ‘Snow Leopard’”, a two-page pamphlet recommending a series of security precautions. It hasn’t been updated, so Rich has offered this article as an update. To summarize:
