iStorage Arrives
Need more storage for your computer stuff (don’t we all)? Contemplating cloud storage? Good news to report.
As you might have heard, one of Apple’s big announcements at WWDC this week was a restructure of iCloud storage options and pricing. Sam Oliver posted a very interesting feature on AppleInsider early this morning discussing both user and developer options. Wired Ranks the Rumors
As Christina Bonnington reports in Wired:
Each week, there are dozens of rumors, reports, and patent filings that hint at what’s coming out of Cupertino next. Some are legit, but many are totally bogus. With this year’s WWDC behind us, there’s not much in the rumor department, but there are a heck of a lot of hints about what’s coming next in iOS and OS X based on code leaks. Below are some of the biggest expected updates, both in terms of hardware and software, that we’ve seen since developers got access to iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite.

Who are you and what do you do?
At The Sweet Setup:
Every week we try to post a new interview with someone about what software they use on their Mac, iPhone, or iPad. We do these interviews because not only are they fun, but a glimpse into what tools someone uses and how they use those tools can spark our imagination and give us an idea or insight into how we can do things better.
Today’s victim, er, interviewee:
My name is Nik Fletcher, and I work at Realmac Software in Brighton, England. We’re a small independent app studio that builds award-winning apps for iOS and the Mac: Clear, Ember, and RapidWeaver. Officially, I’m “Product Manager” but as a small company, I’m involved in pretty-much everything we do: from concept, design, and all the way through to shipping and marketing our apps. I’ve dabbled in code before – building my own iPhone app, and an open-source developer tool – though it’s not something I do full-time; and from time to time write about app development on my blog.

Upcoming Mac and iPad Classes at Di-No
Di-No Computers, in Pasadena, hosts a rotating set of Mac classes on Tuesdays from 2:00p to 3:30p; and iPad classes on the first and third Mondays of each month, also from 2:00p to 3:30p.
