Last-Minute Holiday Gifts & Tips
Trying to get everything done for the holidays? Take a short break and join us for the December meeting of the San Gabriel Valley Macintosh Users Group. We will provide some useful “last minute tips” regarding Apple products, software and accessories.
Win an iPod Shuffle!
Among our drawing prizes for December, we will feature a new Apple iPod Shuffle – also known as the Ultimate Stocking Stuffer! Members receive a free red ticket, or buy extra tickets for $1 each or 6 for $5.We will also have some other super prizes in our drawing to help finish out your gift list.
Of course, all new Apple products include a manufacturer’s warranty, usually one year for most products. What if something happens in year two? AppleCare may be the answer – the warranty extension adds an additional two years of protection. We will discuss the pros and cons, the costs, what is covered, and what is not.
Board of Directors Election
An important feature of the December meeting will be the election of our new Board of Directors. Our slate of candidates this year includes some familiar names and some new ones, as well: Billy Chang, Bob Langdon, Mo! Langdon, Sean McKinley, Marilyn Miller, Dianne Moore, Thomas Ritter, Ron Streicher, David Whitby, and Andrew Zima.
